Frederick Street Pictures

during the first week of june i made some pictures on frederick street in port of spain using a camera hidden in a box, without looking through the viewfinder or at the display. reviewing the pictures i caught, i think i really saw what was the collective feeling of the people passing.

to return the images to frederick street / share the pictures with the people in the pictures, i put together some of the ones that i thought best communicated what i saw and installed them on frederick street, not far from where they had been taken, definitely in the path of the people in the pictures.

below are some of the images i caught and some pictures of the installation.
