Eye to Eye

These are some installation shots from "Eye to Eye", an exhibition of Trinidadian photography in Jamaica curated by O'Neil Lawrence at the Edna Manley CAG[e] gallery. The exhibition featured work by Abigail Hadeed, Alex Smailes, and my "Closer" - a set of photos of people in Port of Spain, asked to stand for a photo with a stranger and to make eye contact.

During the last week of October, I also participated in a group discussion about the project with O'Neil and his students in Kingston via skype from Johannesburg.

More images and information about the show is available here from ARC magazine.

Thanx to O'Neil for the photos.
